We are Maureen and Emily, the two daughters of Trish--the best mom any daughter could ever ask for. She is the kind of person who still bakes brownies to bring to new neighbors. She makes dinners for friends who are sick or have had surgery. She worries more about other people than she does herself.

We have watched our brave, strong, active mother slowly weaken as the disease progresses. Until recently, few people knew that Trish suffered from PKD. She tried to hide the symptoms for as long as possible, and lead as normal a life as possible. She is a wonderful, proud woman, and didn't want others to feel sorry for her.
We are hopeful that one day this terrible disease will have a cure, but for now are relying on the generosity of a donor to allow us to spend more precious time with our amazing mother.
